Visoke temperature in malo padavin pozno poleti pomenijo, da posevki koruze zgodaj dozorijo in se pobirajo z nizko stopnjo vlage. Zato sila\u017ea iz koruznega zrnja (KMS) in sila\u017ea iz polnovredne moke (GKS) z manj kot 25 % vlage nista redki.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Rezultat je sila\u017ea z visoko vsebnostjo suhe snovi. Bolj ko je sila\u017ea suha, ve\u010dja je njena energijska gostota. Zato je pomembno, da recepture prilagodimo dejanski vsebnosti suhe snovi.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Poleg tega obstaja nevarnost, da se pri siliranju suhe sila\u017ee mo\u010dno zmanj\u0161a naravno nastajanje fermentacijske kisline, kar pove\u010duje tveganje za ponovno segrevanje zaradi kvasovk in plesni.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">\u0160ibka fermentacija pri suhi koruzni sila\u017ei &#8211; plesen je neizogibna<\/h2>\n\n<p>Z zmanj\u0161anjem vsebnosti vode se zmanj\u0161a aktivnost naravnih mle\u010dnokislinskih bakterij, s tem pa tudi kakovost fermentacije sila\u017ee. Nevarnost nezadostnega zni\u017eanja pH, pregrevanja ter rasti kvasovk in plesni se mo\u010dno pove\u010da. Posebej problemati\u010dno je, da napad plesni v suhi koruzni sila\u017ei pogosto ni takoj viden &#8211; vendar so posledice za zdravje \u017eivali resne.  <\/p>\n\n<p>Plesni proizvajajo mikotoksine, ki pri pra\u0161i\u010dih povzro\u010dajo velike zdravstvene te\u017eave.
